I've always loved origin stories. It's interesting to hear what myths humanity creates to sort out their own creation as well as the formation of the world around them. So, how did Sweet Southern Dinosaur come to be? When my baby boy was very small, I found myself wanting to monogram his cute little nursery stuff. One day, I plopped a dinosaur with his EWP initials onto a changing mat and my husband walked in and remarked "Aw, he's just a sweet southern dinosaur!"
It stuck.
My boys, the big and the little version of them, are my original inspiration for anything and everything I do. They're the first people my mind flashes to when I sew, or craft, or design. They're my whole world and honestly, the origin of who I am as a mother and a wife and an enormous part of who I am as a person. I do things a little differently at Sweet Southern Dinosaur and I'm always growing, constantly evolving, and ever-changing.
